Diana Castro was born and raised in Puerto Rico. Ms. Castro attended the University of the Sacred Heart in Puerto Rico where she graduated with a major in Communications. After completing her undergraduate degree, she was admitted to the University of Puerto Rico School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2007.  In 2008, she was admitted to practice law in Puerto Rico.

Shortly after Ms. Castro joined a local boutique law firm where she practiced Social Security Disability Law representing disabled clients before the Office of Hearings and Appeals at the Social Security Administration. In 2015, despite the political turmoil, Ms. Castro relocated to Plant City, Florida with a strong desire to serve and provide assistance to those who would be the most affected by harmful anti-immigration policies.

Upon her arrival, she spear-headed an immigration assistance program as the Immigration Counselor for Redlands Christian Migrant Association (RCMA), a nonprofit organization that serves migrant families in underserved rural areas across Florida.

In 2019, she founded Latitudes Law, a private Immigration Law practice in Tampa, Florida where she represents individuals in all areas of immigration, including but not limited to asylum applications, victim visas, fiance visas, special immigrant juvenile status (SIJS), provisional waivers, and naturalization. She also provides representation in removal proceedings and deportation defense.

Ms. Castro is a passionate and dedicated attorney that is known to meet her clients’ needs. Her goals are that clients obtain legal status in the United States preferably without having to leave the country and to keep families together. She is committed to providing a trustworthy and zealous representation for all her clients.
